LSU Tigers Face a MASSIVE New Problem
Rob Gregson breaks down the latest legal battle between LSU and the SEC.

We have some big time breaking news in college football, and it's more trouble for the LSU Tigers.
I'm Rob Gregg, SaveA2Z Sports.
The LSU Tigers have been the subject of controversy really ever since Lane Kiffin joined back in the winter through the spring, and now into the summer with the whole eligibility, and what players can come back, and temporary restraining orders, and all of these different things.

And this morning, there was more news, and it wasn't very good.
As many of you guys probably know, LSU and the SEC, Greg Sankey, were in court this morning to take on LSU and essentially go through why they believe that adding players back to college football that were once in the NFL, even if it was for the preseason, is a horrible idea.
And they went so far, as you can see in this post from On3, to sue LSU and Lane Kiffin.
That's right, quote, "Defendants waged a deliberate and coordinated campaign to recruit professional athletes to play football for LSU during the 2026-2027 season."
So it's very clear that this situation isn't going away anytime soon.
And what once looked like a possible scenario where multiple schools would add former athletes has really turned into LSU versus the entire college football landscape.
More specifically, at the SEC and Greg Sankey, who are obviously now suing LSU and Lane Kiffin, but they have played this villain card, this villain role for the past six months, and now it's to a whole nother level because you've got lawyers involved, you've got attorneys, you've got lawsuits, you have the legal system, and you have the entire weight of the college football and the SEC world on the shoulders of the LSU Tigers.
And at some point, you really have to wonder how this is going to affect the program.
It can do one of two things in my opinion.
You're gonna see it starting week one against Clemson.
Fitting enough that, of course, College GameDay is going to be in Baton Rouge.
Of course, LSU is the headliner for week one.
It's a crazy coincidence, but it's gonna create a bunker-like mentality, and that's going to cause LSU to have one of two things.
Either the team is going to rally together, it's going to galvanize the locker room, and they're gonna march forward with the weight of the world on their shoulders, their backs against the wall, and they're gonna go out and they're gonna perform.
Or as 18 to 24 year olds, well, depending on if they get this guy from the Browns back, 18 to 26 year olds, but that's neither here nor there.
As 18 to 22, 23 year old players, are they gonna let the pressure get to them?
Are they going to have people from the outside, the noise, all the different circumstances get to them?
That is going to be the question.
It's gonna be a bunker-like mentality that galvanizes, or it could potentially ruin the season.
