Lyles surges for heat win to reach 200m finals
Even with a pair of 100m wins under his belt at the USATF Outdoor National Championships, Noah Lyles still managed to chase down Kyree King down the stretch to capture the win in his 200m heat.

I think it's probably time to remind America just what kind of a pro career he has had.
When he lost at the world championships in the 100 last year, Sonia, it was the first time he had ever lost at the world championships in any event.
We know, of course, that he has not secured that gold yet in the 200, so he has two losses in the Olympics- Yes and one at Worlds.
That's his entire career.
That's it.
It- Three losses it, it just really blows your mind.
You mentioned it in the open earlier when you said he talks the talk, but what makes him really special is that he delivers.

He shows up and he wins every single time.
He was dominant last night, and he's back out here wanting another title.

Well, the good thing is I ran my PB.

Yesterday.

I ran two 9.7's in one day, and it feels like I ran two 9.7's in one day.
The engine is firing, but the legs are tired.

But that's what the prelims are for, you know?
By the end of the day, I'll have gotten my rest, seen my medicals crew, and we'll be ready for the final.
I know you're completely goal-oriented, so what do you want to accomplish tomorrow besides a win, to earn a win?
Time-wise, is there something out there?
You know, I won't throw that out there, 'cause as you can see, the wind- Yeah is doing whatever it wants this championships.
So as long as you plot out the rest, that's the best I can ask for.
