Four innings there, what changed in the fifth game, what got that rally going?
Well, we got, we got, put together some hits.
obviously, yeah, he was dominant for four innings.
He's been dominant all year against us really.
I think we did a good job of making an adjustment there in the fifth inning.
we, we got more patient.
We, we drew a walk or two, and put some hits together.
You know, the plan tonight was to get the ball up in the zone, which we weren't successful for four innings, and, there in the fifth, I think we took advantage of some mistakes up in the zone.
Was there any kind of change in approach between that fourth or fifth inning or second half of the game?
No, I mean, the, the, the approach was to get it up, and we just weren't having success the first four.
He located the baseball really well.
He was pounding the zone.
I think I looked up, I think he had thrown one ball in 16 or 17 pitches.
Yeah.
So, you know, for us, we just keep grinding and, and keep, you know, the focus was to, as I said, you know, stay through the middle of the field, get the baseball up, and, and we did a nice job in the fifth.
What do you think of JT tonight on the mound?
JT battled.
you know, going into tonight, about an hour and a half before the game, he got a little sick.
so there was some concern to that, but he went out and gave us everything he had.
he likes pitching here.
He's had a lot of success and, you know, that's a, a good sign when, you know, he's not feeling great and he gives us six innings.
He gave up eight hits, but he only had one, one set up runner in scoring position for him there, got some clutch outs there.
What, what do you think happened with those clutch outs there and making, making a big difference when you needed that?
Yeah, he just, he made big pitches, you know?
And, this is a part of his maturation, his growth that, that we've seen him, this season.
You know, we didn't make a play for him there and the ball, it fell in.
you know, he ended up giving up a run on a two-out hit, but, shut the inning back down and went out and, and competed and gave us six innings.
What'd you think of Harris getting those two big K's and getting out of that base there?
Yeah, Hogan's pitched in some big moments for us, so does a nice job coming in.
obviously you never want to walk a leadoff guy when you come in there and the base is loaded, but two big punch outs, it's something that, we've seen from him.
