Tommy Fleetwood discusses the evolution of his swing, thanks to Butch Harmon, and how he emphasizes shoulder-to-shoulder movement to complete his swing.

Well, I think everybody who watches your iron game, they like to watch your three-quarter swing.
Butch says you call it a shoulder-to-shoulder swing.
Yeah- And he actually told me- Butch likes the shoulder swings.
He told me to ask you about the 17 hole this year.
You and, Finau were on- that 17th hole, back left pin- Yeah in off the left wind.
Tell us about that shoulder-to-shoulder swing.
He, Yeah, Butch, Butch loves to s- loves that story, 'cause he was sat in the, he was sat in the stand behind the tee.
Sure he was.
Sure he was.
The wind was, the wind was pumping, well, it'd been mostly in, right?
It might have been in off the right.
I don't know, I can't remember, but it was mostly in.
And, I remember I was working the shotage out, and I was like, a 6-iron.
So, so, so my hands-to-shoulder swing, I would generally go up, like, all the way to a 7-iron.
I hit a 6-iron now and again with a shoulder swing, but like- Mm-hmm you know, don't get longer than that.
And, anyway, like, you know, we're working the iron shot out, and I'm like, "A 6 can't get there."
You know, it's, like a really good 6 is only just gonna carry that bunker.
The pin's got another 18 on or whatever it is.
5-iron feels like I'm just gonna bullet it through- through the lot.
Like, over the green, and Finau's gone, um- It's like, that's so good "I think it's..." No, he's, he's like, it's, "No," he goes, "I think it's a perfect hands-to-shoulders 5-iron."
And I was like, "Well, how far does that go?"
And he goes, "I've got no idea, but I just think it's right."
And I went I said, "I think it sounds right, too."
I said, "Let's try it."
And like, I swear I'd never hit it before, and we had no idea how far it went, but it just felt like the right thing to do.
And I hit this, like, shoulder shot with a 5-iron, and it went to five feet.
And I was like, that was unbelievable.
So good.
That was, that was the best shot of the week.
So good.
That's so good.
and they were all, but Butch, yeah, Butch loves that story, 'cause he watched that swing, and he, and he said to me afterwards, he went, "Did you hit a hands-to-shoulders 5-iron?"
I went, "Yeah, I've never done it before, but it felt like the right thing to do."
