Matthew Stafford One Loss From Tying Testaverde's NFL Record for QB Losses

Los Angeles Rams quarterback Matthew Stafford dropped his fourth start of the season on Sunday. That leaves his career record at 122-122-1, one loss behind Vinny Testaverde (90-123-1) for the most losses by a starting quarterback in NFL history. One more defeat ties the mark and two more gives him the record outright. Every one of the next 10 quarterbacks on the list is retired, led by Eli Manning with 117, and Hall of Famers are among them. That points to the odd truth behind the record: you have to be good enough to keep starting. Stafford went 74-90-1 over 12 seasons with the Detroit Lions and is 48-32 with the Rams.
