Ladd McConkie was one of fantasy football's most pleasant surprises in 2024, Denny Carter.
Then he was something of a bitter disappointment in 2025.
Now it was an off season of change in Los Angeles.
New offensive coordinator in Mike McDaniel.
An already crowded skill core got more crowded.
Ladd is a player on the spot in fantasy heading into his third season.
He's currently the wide receiver 17 or thereabouts by average draft position.
When I say wide receiver 17 for Ladd McConkie, does that scan as too high or too low for you?
I think it's a little too low, honestly, and, and we might disagree there.
But with Mike McDaniel coming in and establishing what should be an efficient, balanced offense, getting the most, I think, out of Justin Herbert, who, you know, when he's on, he's on.
When he's good, he's good.
I think that Ladd McConkie can be a top 12 fantasy wide receiver.
Now, this is a guy who, as a rookie, was top 10 in yards per route run.
he saw a target on nearly 26% of his routes that season.
Now, that dropped significantly last year.
I'm gonna bl- blame Greg Roman, as we always do, and, and hope that McDaniel gets this guy back on track because he is explosive.
You know, he's dinged up here and there.
Hopefully, he can stay healthy throughout the season because I really do think he has top 12 upside in this Los Angeles offense.
Yeah, Ladd is a guy where we've already seen his upside outcome.
We've already seen his downside outcome.
Now we just hope a really, really respected, established play caller in Mike McDaniel can bring back that upside.
You kinda sold me.
Wide receiver 17 might be a bit low.
