Didn't come in here with a ton of reps and, almost felt like the, the more the week went on, the more I felt lost in the golf swing a little bit.
So, I figured it out a little bit the last few holes today, I think.
But yeah, just, yeah, just sorta, yeah.
Swing wasn't in sync and, yeah, obviously didn't, do a ton of practice coming in here.
So, I guess nice to shake the rust off a little bit but, you know, I'm gonna have to work pretty hard between now and next Thursday to, to feel like I have any sorta golf game to, to compete next week.
Was there one element of your game that felt more off than, than you were expecting, or is it more just overall a timing thing?
It's just overall.
I think as well when you're, when you're sort of working through some stuff in your swing then, you know, you start to I, I certainly do sometimes start to lose awareness of the target and start to, like, you know, you start to make the golf swing more important than the golf shot sometimes, and that's obviously not a good thing either.
So, it's sorta like that happy medium of, you know, you wanting to get some feels in the golf swing but at the same time, you know, still trying to play golf out there and not, you know, just thinking of the golf swing, which I sorta after, after the bad finish on Thursday, I felt like I was just thinking of my golf swing the last few days.
And as I said, felt a little bit better coming in today but, you know, just need to do some work on it.
You had mentioned entering the week looking at this as a 12-round tournament essentially with the playoff.
Does the blank slate in St. Louis offer some, some upside for you just to start from scratch and go again?
Yeah.
It, it, it does obviously.
But again, at the same time, like, I'm so far away from, from where I need to be to, to even feel like I have a chance.
So, yeah, I just gotta keep working and, and hope it turns around a little bit.
