I think we need to When your, when your net worth as a team is probably more than both those teams combined, I think you gotta just take a step back and be like, "What are we doing wrong?"
'Cause there has to be something beyond that.
This is gonna take a, it's gonna take a Herculean effort for this team to come back from where they are.
And we've seen them do it before, having a crazy late season push and being one of the best teams in baseball.
But as of right now, it's just, it's just not looking good.
They're in a terrible spot, and they-- I mean, I'm not gonna count them out, but we're like, we're reaching the end of our timer here before there's just no time for them to do anything.
And l- like I think we've talked about this on prior shows, the last thing you wanna do is be relying on other teams while you're also trying to win, win like most of your like ballgames from here on out.
Like, it's just, you don't wanna-- You wanna be able to control your own, your own destiny, per se.
And Bob, I wanna go back to that point you just made.
So I mean, I just did some quick research.
So Bob, the Mets have the second highest tax payroll in baseball.
They are number two of 30, behind only the Dodgers.

Do any of you guys-- So Bob, you were right in saying that the Mets' tax payroll is higher than the Marlins' and Nationals' combined.
Wow.
Do either of you wanna take a guess at how wide that gap is between those two teams?
Or between those three teams?
I would say at least $150 million.
