About seven and six, war of 2.1, and again, the ERA of 3.02.
I mean, these are all respectable numbers.
This is him, this is Kodai Senga, I think slowly returning to that twenty twenty-three form.
But again, you look at these numbers from his rookie season, 2.98 ERA, again, the four and a half war.
I mean, he was a machine.
he dominated his rookie year, and left a lot to be desired considering he missed a lot of twenty twenty-four.
But now you look at this guy with this kind of upside already at ninety-seven, like three weeks into camp.
I mean, I feel like this could be a big year for Senga if he can stay healthy.
It's good stuff.
It also clues in that he's been in shape or he came to camp in shape, which I find interesting.
That's definitely a huge thing is the fitness.
Yeah, absolutely.
One of my favorite things about joining the team with you guys and just kind of being an outsider and getting to be in and around meetings and whatnot, is at the beginning of the year when Coach Rosie, shout out Coach Rosie, the pitching coach here.
He's a very like calm demeanored guy, but he's also like a silent killer.
Yes.
And my favorite line of Rosie is that he says, "Tell me how many pitches you think you can throw.
Do not lie to me.
I will know if you're in shape or not."
And that is just such like a loaded statement.
Yeah.
Because he will end you.
Yeah.
Like I, I know he puts you guys through the ringer.
So coming to shape is definitely a huge thing for pitchers, which I, I didn't realize for the longest time.
I didn't realize how much you guys really put into being in shape and being at your best.
Oh, yeah.
If you show up out of shape, you're- You're done, buddy you're gonna be- Ratted struggling for the first few weeks for sure.
I mean, you don't come in out of shape throwing as hard as you were at your very best last year.
So definitely he's putting in the work for sure.
Well, and then ex-- Bob, exactly to your point, I mean, with Coach Rosie and us at the Division III level, just how important it was for us to come back in shape.
I mean, that's exemplified fifteen times over at the Major League level where your only job is to show up in shape.
You're making millions of dollars to show up in shape
