Yeah, it is, dude, it's, it's brutal.
I mean, I don't know how much we can really harp on the fact that it's just rough.
Like things are going wrong.
Guys are getting hurt.
Plays are not being made.
the guys that were supposed to be doing what they need to be doing are not doing what they need to be doing.
And, it's just like bad things just continue to get worse and it's, it is not an enjoyable situation.
I will say that.
And I think really the one way or a way to put this, is just when it rains, it pours.
and I mean, for the Mets earlier this past week, Luis Robert Jr., one of the Mets' big off-season acquisitions headed to the injured list where he already joins three other Mets.
Right now, Francisco Lindor, Jorge Polanco, and Jared Young are all on the injured list.
And this is after Juan Soto has already spent around two to three weeks on the injured list.
He came back from his stint on the IL the same day Francisco Lindor started his.
So just, I mean, obviously the Mets have not been fully healthy throughout this season.
that certainly has played an impact on their record.
But Bob, I'm just kind of curious, you're our resident Luis Robert Jr. fan.
And to your credit, you did say you had some questions about this Mets outfield.
But I mean, just before we get into all of the logistics of this, like, I mean, what are your, what are your initial impressions of the repercussions this might have?
I did mention that the, the depths could be really, really bad and the highs could be really, really high.
me personally, I was looking more in the scope of Lou Bob's effort being the issue, because he has been known to sandbag.
it also doesn't help, effort really doesn't matter when you're hurt, which was not really something I took into account.
I thought he'd be all right.
Seems to be he wasn't, so that's not cool.
it just, it sucks.
It, I, I don't know if I can put it in much better words.
That just sucks.
I love, I love watching Luis Robert.
Luis Robert, it is a shame that he's hurt and that is a huge, huge piece gone.
And it, that just is brutal for the front office to be looking at two guys you invested so much money into to bring into the city already hurt and you're only a month into the season.
