This Mets Prospect Should Be Called Up For Development

So one bright spot for the Mets this year, Juan Soto was named a National League All-Star starter.
He has been having an insane season.
And this really isn't relevant to Juan Soto being an All-Star, but it's too funny to not include.
And so obviously there's been a lot of discourse about the relationship between Juan Soto and Francisco Lindor.
A lot of reports have come out in saying that it wasn't good.
So I mean, I'm not gonna, I'm not gonna go out and say it wasn't good.
Both parties have said it was good.
But in an article for The Athletic that came out the other day that was kind of centered on the relationship between Juan Soto and Francisco Lindor, a quote from Juan Soto on his relationship with Francisco Lindor, "When you meet a girl, you don't start kissing her right away."
Which the analogy makes sense.
It's just a strange one to pick, honestly.
I still wanna know why Juan Soto That was the first thing that came to mind.
Why was that his analogy?
I, I, well, I, I don't even know.
But I, I, I think the, all the reports saying that they didn't like each other were just stupid.
I don't think-- I think people are just, like jumping to conclusions with that.
I don't feel like th-there was any actual, you know, like backing to their statements.
They were just trying to create something.
And when a team isn't doing well, it's very easy to create different narratives in the, in the media.
But, but no, this is, this is one of, one of the best quotes I've ever read in my life.
One of the worst analogies I've ever read in my life.
There's, th-there's about 50 other analogies I can think of right now that were better than what he said, but it made sense, I guess, so it worked.
And I mean, again, I think, Pete, you kinda touched on this.
I think the whole Soto-Lindor beef, I think it was honestly a lot of it was the media trying to stoke coals that aren't there.
And I mean, I, I guess that's part of sports media.
You know, you try and, you know, get people involved.
You try and get people to get clicks.
So I mean, it's like Like, I mean, people, people like to pretend that there's drama.
People are just into that sort of stuff.
I never understood it.
And I feel like it's kind of the same way with Soto and Lindor.
Again, they've both said the relationship's fine.
They both said it took time to build one, but you know, that's how any relationship is.
Again, it's just Juan Soto picking the funniest possible description when talking about it.
