Michael Morales hints that UFC welterweight title shot is next

Michael Morales asserted he is ahead of Ian Garry in the race for the next UFC welterweight title opportunity, a development that shapes the division's immediate picture. The claim centers on the welterweight title shot against Islam Makhachev, with Michael Morales posting a morphed contract image and addressing Ian Garry. Recent results frame the debate: Morales beat Sean Brady at UFC 322, and Makhachev won welterweight gold against Jack Della Maddalena on the same card. Garry then defeated Belal Muhammad at UFC Qatar. Ali Abdelaziz said a major bout was considered without Garry. Elves include Topuria–Gaethje news and Dana White citing a Makhachev injury.
