Michael Page slams ‘entitlement issues’ among top UFC welterweights

Michael Page said he moved from welterweight to middleweight, citing opponent tactics ahead of his UFC Paris matchup with Nursulton Ruziboev. The shift places Michael Page at middleweight for UFC Paris, where Ruziboev awaits, after he grew frustrated with welterweight matchmaking. Page, 4-1 in the UFC with his only loss to Ian Garry, described rivals at 170 pounds as waiting for openings rather than engaging. He previously faced middleweights Sharabutdin Magomedov and Jared Cannonier before a welterweight bout with Sam Patterson. Page said the title remains the goal, but he criticized what he called overly tactical approaches: "I'll go the tougher route and just move up a weight."
