Mitchell Chaffee, Brayden Schenn and Peter DeBoer discuss the Islanders 5-3 loss to the defending champion Hurricanes

Islanders head coach Peter DeBoer was pleased with his team's resiliency in overcoming a two-goal deficit to the defending champion Carolina Hurricanes and head for the third period tied at three. What he wasn't enamored with was the Islanders failure to strike on the power-play in a eventual 5-3 loss. Both Mitchell Chaffee and Brayden Schenn did score goals for the Isles but would much rather have come away with a win.
