Muhammad Mokaev calls for PFL Clash against UFC alum

Undefeated flyweight Muhammad Mokaev signaled interest in a PFL contract and a matchup with Sergio Pettis, spotlighting a potential marquee bout outside the UFC. Muhammad Mokaev, recently released from the UFC after a lackluster 2024 win over Manel Kape, says he was warned his style was not entertaining. He has since recorded victories in Brave CF, 971 FC, and Karate Combat, becoming the inaugural Brave CF flyweight champion with a head‑kick knockout of Gerard Burns last November. Mokaev recalled sharing Pettis' UFC 185 bout with Ryan Benoit 11 years ago. Pettis, now in the PFL after Bellator's acquisition, is 25‑7 with recent wins over Raufeon Stots and Magomed Magomedov. Mokaev is 16‑0 with seven UFC wins.
