We're the butt of all of the NFL memes and jokes.
"Substation's undefeated," and you know, and all of those things, and that's It's the jokes that are gonna be thrown at Like, in the same way that we laugh at Rams fans for not being able to fill out their stadium, and the same way that we laugh at, you know, Seahawks fans for various things, this is the joke.
And that's what's gonna be the joke.
You know, and this is the problem, is that the pads have just got on.
You know, I wouldn't be shocked if the 49ers canceled joint practices at this point, like they did last year.
Like, who want Th- those things get physical, those things get intense.
And you schedule two, one with the Chargers, one with the Titans.
No.
Not at all.
Nobody.
Nobody near any sort of full contact, anything like that, no.
You have to wave it off.
You have to.
And I think they will.
But other teams have injuries, for sure.
Other teams have brutal training camp injuries, for sure.
But other teams don't have all of these injuries every single year except for, like, one or two.
The 49ers have tried changing the way they practice, changing their training staff, not drafting guys with checkered injury pasts, and none of, none of it matters.
None of it matters.
Ricky Pearsall literally never had any injuries in college.
Ramello Heights, never been injured, really.
You know, like, elbow.
You know, what, carted off the other day with cramps.
Like, McKel Kamara carted off.
Still haven't gotten McKell back.
You know, like, Collins is back.
Like, the 49ers are in desperate need of edge help.
They should be on the phone with Jadeveon Clowney.
They should be on the phone with Kyle Van Noy.
They need help.
And if they don't sign one of those guys, they're gonna have to bring in guys just to run reps, to run one-on-ones.
That's how, that's how depleted they are right now at edge.
You know, when you hear Raheem Morris say that Kevin Givens had to be outside and play outside today, you know they're desperate.
Oh, man.
They have a bevy of defensive tackles varying from very good to whatever, but you need edge guys.
And this is the point, too, is when we're talking about, let's say, best case scenario and everybody was This, the 49ers needed to add people if everybody walked out of this camp health- healthy at edge.
