That is exactly the response that Everton needed to get back on level terms.

These Evertonians will tell you he hasn't done it enough throughout the season considering how he's able to manipulate the ball, move the ball.

Well, maybe he doesn't find himself in these sort of positions often enough.
Yeah, well he has- Through the middle he has drifted off the line under David Moyes a lot more.
But, you know, when you get McNeil and, McNeil and Ndiaye as close together as this, they can really affect the game, and he does it.

And just like that, Everton are back in front.
The attacking threat of Grealish and Dewsbury-Hall, and Ndiaye assisted by Beto, certainly has that in its locker.

Yeah, and that's what this Everton front line can do.
They can hurt you so quickly.

I mean, once Grealish does get in position, I mean, it's a cracking little ball to the far post to find Ndiaye, who was very, very aware of, of Gueye's position behind him.
And I must admit, we've seen him kind of knock many over the crossbar, but this is another cracking goal.
He catches this with, with great power and perfection.

Just when you felt Everton needed halftime.
Nottingham Forest just got sucked in, overexposed themselves, allowed too many men forward, and Everton just pounced, hit them on the counterattack, winning the ball back.
Brilliant from Iliman Ndiaye, and suddenly Nottingham Forest didn't have the numbers.
Wondered which way he's gonna choose.
Every Evertonian hoped he'd choose Timou Barry.
Begged him to.
I mean, it's a brilliant piece of skill.
Oh, he runs with the ball, drops his shoulder.
Now McNeil.
Here's Ndiaye slipping it for Dewsbury-Hall to apply the perfect finish.
Super subtle, slick from Keane and Dewsbury-Hall, and surely now Everton are gonna win again at the Hill Dickinson Stadium.
Quite simply a thing of beauty, isn't it?
They move the ball with real purpose and pace, and after that you've got to revel at the skill set involved.
