NFL draft winners: Jets, Browns lead the way
Chris Simms and Mike Florio discuss the winners from the 2026 NFL Draft, including the hauls from the New York Jets, New York Giants and Cleveland Browns.

All right, biggest winners of the draft, draft.
Not me, because we're doing the draft.
Go.
New York.
New York, New York, New York, New York.
New York- New Jersey big city, big dreams.
New, New Jersey.
Dirty Jerz, tri-state area.
That's, I mean, there's, that's the biggest winners.
I, I think the Jets and Giants had two of the best drafts in there.
And again, to, to have the David Bailey, Arvell Reese conversation and that going forward, and them gonna be compared to each other.
And the Giants with two top 10 picks, and the Jets have three first round picks, and I like all of them.
Yeah, I mean, to me, I think both teams kicked some butt in the draft, and of course, got some, some polarizing big time names to go along with it.
You know, I do have a lot of faith in what the Browns have been doing lately.
They got some good players last year in the draft.
It was all overshadowed by the Dylan Gabriel, Shedeur Sanders mistake, because again, it's not about team building, it's about asset acquisition.
When you look at the fact that they got a tackle when they desperately need one in Spencer Finau, Casey Concepcion, and Denzel Boston- Yeah rounds one and two at receiver.
Yeah.
It's to the point where they're like, "Hey, is Jerry Judy still part of this team?"
Like, they've, they're gonna have some weapons for whoever the quarterback is.
And color me fascinated at Taillon Green, the Arkansas quarterback who ran a 436.
Yeah.
When you look at the skill set, and you look at the quarterback that Todd Monken had in Baltimore, and you look at the other guys on the roster, there's one guy whose skills match the guy that Todd Monken's been working with.
And it ain't Shedeur Sanders, it ain't Deshaun Watson, and it ain't Dylan Gabriel.
No, that's why you draft Taillon Green.
Yeah.
So I'm very intrigued by the Browns.
Yeah, yeah.
I mean, yeah, can Todd Monken develop him?
He needs to play quicker and faster, and everything needs to happen, right?
But he does have a powerful arm, and he is big.
And of course, his speed when he opens up, right, is, is really impressive.
But it's elongated, and it takes a little while.
Everything takes a little while, and that's where he's a great project and a great chance you hit a home run with somebody special there.
So I hear you there.
I think my other winners would be, you know, offensive linemen.
I mean, damn, we saw a run between pick nine and pick 28 there where we saw, what?
20 picks, and nine of them were offensive linemen.
That to me was incredible.
That to me shows you how popular, how valuable they are with all the good D linemen in football right now.
The NFL knows there's only so many good ones out there on the O-line, they gotta have 'em.
I'm gonna go back to something that we said at the top of the show simply because you may not have seen it, but the undrafted players that got significant more guarantees than players in round seven and half of round six, good luck fitting that on the graphic, those guys were the winners.
