NFL Hot Seat Rankings: Steichen Tops List as Harbaugh's Chargers Stay Winless

Colts coach Shane Steichen tops the NFL coaching hot seat rankings going into Week 8. Indianapolis is 2-5, Chris Ballard has been dismissed and Pro Bowl guard Quenton Nelson was traded to the Seahawks ahead of the deadline. The Jets' Aaron Glenn comes next, still winless against division opponents since the start of 2025. Jim Harbaugh's Chargers are the league's only winless team, with the offense last in scoring and Justin Herbert regressing. Dan Quinn's Commanders, who lost Terry McLaurin for the season, and Nick Sirianni's injury-hit Eagles, coming off a 38-21 loss to the Cowboys, round out the list.
