Before we get off this subject, what are NFL teams gonna think of this, though?
Uh- 'Cause you're talking about all the, think about the character concerns that we get told.
Yeah.
Oh, I know.
And some of the dumb stuff that these teams are allegedly concerned about.
this is gonna be a tough one, right?
Because there's gonna be a quarterback-needy team that is like, "Okay, if we can support him and we can put, resources around him, and if we can get him into counseling in his time away, he doesn't have class, we don't have to worry about that.
Like, is there a way that we can protect and insulate this athlete if we really want him?"
and you'd probably get him at a discount because nobody's gonna give up a first round pick in next year's draft to try to get him in the supplemental draft, right?
So they're, they're weighing those aspects of it.
But, and this is, this, this is a, a tough thing, but it's a reality.
It's hard to trust people who struggle with addiction because they, they lie, and they steal, and they cheat at times to try to get the thing that makes them feel even in terms of their addiction.
And that is something that franchises are gonna have to weigh out is like, how serious is it?
Do we think that we can do something about it?
And, and at the end of the day, like, how much do we really believe that we can trust somebody who's struggling with something that's so terrible?
Yeah.
And especially if, if, you know, you look at the quarterback class for next year's draft, and you feel better about it.
Or you like- There's a lot of guys, allegedly.
Allegedly, yeah.
We said the same thing last year when, you know.
We did say the same thing.
Neither here nor there.
But again, those are all the things that are gonna be weighed.
So again, we are recording this before we get the ruling from the preliminary or the temporary injunction.
so we'll cover that next week if it changes.
but again, he's fighting two paths.
He's trying to get reinstated through the NCAA, which I, would have no reason for them to budge at all.
No.
And then the other one is through the court, trying to basically overturn, that NCAA decision.
