Nolan Arenado talked about his RBI double in the Diamondbacks' three-run seventh and his inning-ending, double play grounder an inning later.

Yeah, I mean, it was a great fight by us, you know, to ma- to get it interesting.
You know, we got some of their really good relievers in the game, you know?
but you know, they're really good too, so, but we fought.
We did a great job there making it interesting.
Tough to not come out with a win, but you know, it was, it was a good fight.
What'd you see on your hit also?

It was a good fastball in.
You know, I was just happy I won the challenge finally.
you know, got a good pitch to hit, but you know, wish I could have done it in my last at bat too.
Just didn't get it done.
Yeah.
What, you know, what, was it just a fastball away?
Qui- yeah, just kind of came around it.
He's got a good heater.
Yeah.
You gotta be ready for it.

I know it's just, it's hard, but it still plays up and just kind of rolled it over.
Just gotta stay through the ball a little bit better there, but you know, it's, it's part of it.
In that seventh inning, what stood out to you about the at-bats?
Just collectively, just solid.
you know, just everyone, you know, it starts with Cattell with the walk, you know, and guys just feeding off that and, you know, I feel like that's what we can do.
You know, we do a really good job at, like, making innings long and, you know, guys are having good at-bats and it was, it was, it was a great inning.
Obviously, you know, outcome like this, nobody's real pleased, but just being able to play this well against this team, what does that mean to you guys confidence-wise?
Yeah, I, I mean, you know, we feel very confident in who we are regardless of who we're facing.
You know, we know who they are and they're very good, but you know, we gotta, you know, we just couldn't find a way to scrap a few more, but you know, like I said, we, we do a good job of fighting constantly and, you know, that's, like I said, I, I think I said this early on to you guys, that it's gonna pay dividends in the long run if we continue to fight like that.
And so it was, it was a good sign.
