Notre Dame Runs Past North Carolina 37-26 for 15th Straight Win

Notre Dame beat North Carolina 37-26 at Kenan Memorial Stadium for its 15th straight win, and the run game carried the load. The Irish set season highs with 45 carries for 241 yards. Jonaz Walton ran 23 times for 120 yards as the offense controlled the fourth quarter and closed it out on the ground. It wasn't clean: the defense let Billy Edwards Jr. throw three touchdown passes and gave up a 98-yard kickoff return touchdown. Marcus Freeman credited his team's toughness and physicality when it mattered most.
