For me it's Elias Pettersson, in Vancouver.
Yeah.
You know, he's on a second year of an eight-year contract that pays him 11.6 million.
What has he got, like 15 goals and like 40 points, something like that?
Vancouver's not- Obviously terrible.
I don't know if he needs a change of scenery or what, but you know, when you're paying him that much money you're expecting, you know, superstar level production, and you're just not getting it once again.
Yeah.
Mm-hmm.
All right.
Ryan?
Elias Pettersson was also who I was gonna say.
It's, it's hard not to.
It's maybe the only answer, let's face it.
It is.
Yeah, yeah, it is.
Maybe there is, there is a right answer to this question, I guess.
Yeah, exactly.
You'd be lying if you didn't say And, and I agree.
It's like, like what do you do at this point?
I don't know.
Although I will say, at one point Sergei Bobrovsky had the worst contract in the NHL-- Mm-hmm and then he won two Stanley Cups.
Yes.
So there's time for everybody.
Just ask Dale Tallon, that's literally what cost him his job.
Yeah.
He just needed a little more time.
Although at this point I don't think time is the problem for Elias Pettersson.
I think just Vancouver slash I'm not sure at this point- Yeah is the problem.
So, uh- What would be the perfect market or perfect landing spot to kind of- you know?
Seattle.
Who?
Seattle?
Oh.
Seattle.
I was gonna say Carolina, but I don't know.
Other than Vancouver?
They play a brand of more hockey.
Yeah.
I mean, he's- Oh he got a lot better defensively this year.
So I mean maybe Carolina would be the answer.
yeah, that's not a bad one.
I'm just thinking Seattle 'cause it's like, you know, no media spotlight.
Yeah.
They need high-end skill.
This is a guy that's had 100 points in the NHL before, so that might be a good fit.
Unfortunately, he would be very close to Vancouver.
Yeah.
Like a fan to just He could- Can he still feel the vibes from across the-- Yeah.
Yeah, exactly
