Oregon Ducks discuss their options they have in the receiver room
Oregon Ducks coach Dan Lanning discusses their options they have in the receiver room. Lanning talks about how they have many options now, but you do not know what is going to happen during the season. but he emphasizes being healthy will help them a lot to be able to use their guys.

Just what excites you about the amount of options you do have in that receiver room after you had to deal with, uh, the injury lock down the stretch last year and how you, how do you apply those lessons that you learned when, when you do have, went from when you didn't have all your options to when you do this season?
Yeah, we do right now, right?
I mean, that's football, so you don't know what's gonna happen, what's gonna change throughout the season.
We started last season with a lot of options, right?
We, we might have been missing one, right?
But ultimately that adjusts as the year goes on and It'll be the same thing this year.
There'll be, there'll be some injuries within positions that we have to adjust and adapt, and we've shown that we can do that, whether that's utilizing other personnel groups, but being healthy, um, certainly allows us to have our whole repertoire, you know, and, and the ability to use that.
Zack Aaron Scott is someone that you guys recruited heavily out of high school.
He went to Ohio State for a couple of years, came here.
Now, what was that recruitment like this time around and, you know, what is he add to that room for you?
Yeah, the message really didn't change, you know, for Aaron, we pointed out some of the same things.
Um, and I think again, the more you build over time, you get to really point to the past and say that's an indicator of the future.
And there's some things that we've been able to do with guys in the secondary here in the past that really point to the, the future of what that's going to look like and it involves having players like Aaron that can come compete.
He's a really good player.
Um, had big roles there, uh, in his previous school.
So look excited to see him grow and, and, and develop that.
