Oregon Rolls Past USC 41-27 as Lincoln Riley Falls to 0-3 Against Dan Lanning
No. 20 Oregon topped No. 12 USC 41-27 at the Los Angeles Memorial Coliseum, handing Lincoln Riley his third straight loss to Dan Lanning. Starting quarterback Dante Moore left the game after a violent hit from USC linebacker Desman Stephens II, who was ejected for targeting. Moore was taken by ambulance to a hospital, and Lanning later said Moore had movement in all extremities. Backup Dylan Raiola stepped in and completed 20 of 26 passes for 289 yards and two touchdowns as Oregon racked up 504 total yards. USC briefly tied the game at 27 but could not contain the Ducks down the stretch, dropping to 4-1 with a brutal schedule still ahead.
