Now the weak link of this offensive line.
There has been much talk over the last six days about Bengals left tackle Orlando Brown Jr.
Anyone who watched the preseason opener against the Lions knows that he did not have his best game, albeit a very limited sample size.
He didn't play anywhere near all four quarters, but in the time that he was out there, he had a pretty bad whiff on a pass protection rep against Eric O'Neal, which allowed Joe Burrow to get hit.
It was unfortunate to see that, especially against the backups of the Detroit Lions defensive line.
He's not perfect.
He's never been perfect as a member of the Bengals, and I think expectations have always been high considering he was, you know, the crown jewel of the offensive line free agency class a handful of years ago, and he chose to play for the Cincinnati Bengals.
Combine that with his personality, he's always great to interview, he's involved in the community.
It seems like the perception of who Brown is as a player doesn't exactly match up with who he actually is on the field, and that is a decent player, but someone who does lose in a certain way against a certain kind of pass rusher.
