Cleveland Browns rookie wide receiver Casey Concepcin is widely expected to compete for the Browns' starting slot receiver position in training camp.
Concepcin had sixty-one catches last college football season, totaling nine hundred and nineteen receiving yards and nine receiving touchdowns.
He is projected to be a legitimate vertical threat for the Browns next season, and he's, has a lot of Zay Flowers in him, according to new Browns head coach Todd Monken.
Monken coached Flowers on the Baltimore Ravens, and he has seen a lot of similarities between the two speedsters.
Browns general manager Andrew Berry said the same thing a couple weeks ago.
So it's definitely gonna be interesting to see what type of role and production we see from Concepcin next season.
I think a lot of it is gonna be dependent on who the starting quarterback is.
Deshaun Watson and Shedeur Sanders, will be competing for the starting quarterback job in training camp and preseason.
Depending on who you talk to, you're gonna get different answers.
Some people say Watson has the edge, some people say Sanders has the edge.
So whoever Concepcin is catching passes from next season, has to put the ball on target so that the speedster has open grass to run and score a bunch of touchdowns for Cleveland.
