Mike, do you think there are any teams that are gonna take a shot on Druin in free agency?

Again, 31 years old, he's not, you know, over the hill by any means.

So, so where do you see him ending up?

Okay, I'm gonna put my Karnak the Magnificent turban on here.

how about the Colorado Avalanche?

Because Valeri Nikushkin, they traded him to Columbus.

Drury, they traded him to Nashville.

Their, their sort of middle six, bottom six is in need.

he had two really good seasons in Colorado with his junior buddy, Nathan MacKinnon.

second season, he pl- had 37 points in 43 games.

So I think if you could get him on a one-year deal at $1.5 to $2 million, I think that fits with Colorado in terms of their cap situation.

I, I'd be stunned if it's somebody other than Co- Colorado, but, you know, I'm sure there are a few other teams that might be interested as well.

Andre, what do you think?

I'm gonna have to piggyback on Michael's take here for the Avalanche, 'cause in the, in the few, I guess, not to be disrespectful, but the few good seasons that Druin had in terms of point production, Colorado was one of those teams.

and he, he, he's not gonna cost you a whole lot, and like Mike said, Colorado are close to, you know, the cap ceiling.

They gotta worry about a Cale Makar extension, so, you know, big money free agents is, is not gonna be the way to go for, for Joe Sakic and company.

So I could see that being a great fit in terms of, you know, the history there, you know, him having, you know, a good tenure there.

but yeah, I guess for Druin, you know, Avalanche or not, it's, it's onto the next for him.

It's, it's another new team now, another new home to search for, so we'll see where it goes.
