It's the New York Knicks, bro.

They can afford it.

Oh, of course.

You ain't gotta take no discount- Of course for, for them to get paid.

You, you ain't gotta My situation, again, my situation is different because Steph making 270.

Mm-hmm.

Klay making 180.

Yeah.

All right, something gotta give.

Cool, I can take a little l- Yeah I can take less.

Mm-hmm.

But he the top guy.

Yes, sir.

Let- Sure.

By the way, let, let Josh Hart or- Take a pay cut somebody else take less.

Yeah.

Like, they in my role, right?

Yeah, yeah, yeah.

Like, let one of them take less.

But guess what?

Steph Curry ain't take a penny less.

I feel that.

And neither did Klay Thompson ain't take a penny less.

Absolutely so.

If it's gonna work, somebody do.

Well, guess what?

I ain't really expecting them to take less.

Yeah, they should- I don't know what he doing.

I'm, I'm, I'm happy for him.

He got that 165- He still got the max, though.

The, the max extension.

Yeah.

He ain't get the max.

That's $100 million.

Okay, here's the difference, though, because Draymond Green maybe took less or didn't get paid as much, but he wasn't as valuable as Klay Thompson and Steph Curry.

So when he's saying Josh Hart and Mikal Bridges should be taking a discount, well, they, they weren't offered $200 million contracts.

So even if they took less, it's not gonna amount to much.

Draymond is saying, "Well, Steph didn't take any discount.

Klay didn't take any discount."

Okay.

Jalen Brunson took a discount.

But it's not, you know, their success wasn't incumbent upon, boy, if Mikal Bridges sacrifices and Josh Hart sacrifices their salaries, we got a chance to build a championship team.

It, it's not the same.

Yes, Marvin?

But Brunson taking $100 million less definitely helped, because now you can afford OG Anunoby makes $37 million.

Yeah, he, he ne- he didn't have Klay Thompson.

So if Jalen Brunson wanted to be able to get everybody that he wanted on that team, he decided to take less money.

So And he's not going to the soup kitchen anytime, so he'll be fine.

No, no, every- I, I think everybody's good.

But to say that M- Bridges should've been sacrificing his 100 million or, Josh Hart, they don't, they don't get paid that kind of money.

Yeah, Dylan.

Yeah, so you have to go and be like squeeze them both for, like, an extra $6 million- Yeah for the, for the team.

Yeah.

It's not the same.

Oh, Draymond.

He's always got something.

And then you hear stories, like if you have a great relationship with LeBron, I mean, what's it say about Golden State that you could've stayed in California and you could've played with Steph Curry, maybe even bring back Klay Thompson for a year.

I think what you're saying is they're not that threatening.

And Golden State has whiffed on how many players in the last, what, five years?

They were in the Giannis sweepstakes for a while.

Draymond, I guess, reportedly was vacationing with LeBron, and you can't convince him to go to Golden State?

That's interesting, too, 'cause LeBron and Steph have a great relationship.

It just He went where he had the best chance to win.

He might like Draymond Green, but you gotta put up with Draymond Green every single day.

That might get tiring.

Yes, Paulie.

I've got the Warriors draft history.

Now, they, they drafted late in the first round often, but they haven't really gotten an impact player like Jordan Poole in 2019 impacted temporarily.

The, the big whiff was 2020, that injury season, and they took James Wiseman out of Memphis.

Yeah.

And they could've reset the franchise with a good player, but wasn't the right draft.

Yeah, and most of their, like Moody, Kuminga, like they missed on them as well.

Like, they're okay.

Yeah, yeah, Marvin.

The end of Steph kind of feels like the end of Kobe, where they had, they whiffed on plenty of opportunities to get high-profile free agents, and they didn't.

Yeah, a- and you know, Bob Myers isn't there anymore.

He's in Philadelphia consulting them.
