Paul Maurice, Panthers Postgame: Florida Coach Not Happy with Loss to Vancouver Canucks

Florida Panthers coach Paul Maurice speaks to the press after his team lost 5-2 to the host Vancouver Canucks on Tuesday, March 17, 2026. Florida had Seth Jones back in the lineup for the first time since he fractured his collarbone on Jan. 2 at the Winter Classic. It did not help all that much. Matthew Tkachuk scored to tie the score at 1 in the first, and Sam Bennett pulled Florida within a goal to make it 3-2 in the second before Vancouver pulled away for just its fifth win in 2026. Florida was coming off a 6-2 loss at Seattle. The Panthers visit Edmonton in a Stanley Cup Final rematch with the Oilers on Thursday.
