Philadelphia Phillies Predicted to Make One More Significant Move
The Philadelphia Phillies are being predicted to make another significant move before the 2026 MLB season.

The Phillies haven't really made a whole lot of moves this off-season.
Yes, they re-signed Kyle Schwarber and J.T.
Realmuto.
They did add Adolis Garcia and Brad Keller.
They tried to get Bob Bichette, but he ended up signing with the Mets.
Other than those actual additions they made, the Phillies have been really quiet this winter, and they're basically running it back with the same team in twenty twenty-six, minus Ranger Surez and Harrison Bader.
So Phillies fans are understandably frustrated, and it doesn't look like the Phillies are going to make any significant, like, major, major moves before the start of the season, unless they add another pitcher.
And one name that has popped up as a potential addition for the Phillies is a name familiar to Phillies fans, Walker Buehler.
Remember, Philadelphia signed, Walker Buehler last August after he was released by the Red Sox, and in a very, very short amount of time, he pitched pretty well in Philadelphia.
And with the Phillies now lacking rotation depth, with Zach Wheeler out, with Thorak out with shoulder, we don't know when he's coming back, Ranger Surez signed elsewhere, they're gonna be relying on Andrew Painter to fill the back end of the rotation spot.
Top prospect, we don't know if he's ready yet, especially after the year he had last year, Triple-A, where he wasn't very good at all.
I could see the Phillies adding Buehler as a depth piece there, just for some, some insurance.
Now, Buehler was at one time a really good pitcher.
Made two All-Star teams in LA, but since twenty twenty-one, after finishing fourth in Cy Young voting that year, he's had a lot of injuries, and he hasn't been the same pitcher even close ever since.
But he's th He's an experienced arm, thirty-one years old, and for a guy who just, they just need to eat innings, maybe Buehler could step in and provide some insurance back there and take some pressure off of Andrew Painter at the back end of that Phillies rotation.
