There's always someone arguing with Jerry Jones and the Cowboys brass.

the argument is half settled.

George Pickens signed his tender.

he's now under contract for 2026 officially.

He did that over a month ago.

We were not sure if he was going to attend mandatory mini camp, maybe begin a hold in right now, or even a hold out from mini camp, then a hold in in training camp.

Show of good faith, he is reporting to mandatory mini camp.

They still have a month to work out a long-term agreement.

Doesn't really seem like that is in the cards.

it seems like Pickens will be the good soldier, at least for now.

does his contract status, or lack thereof with a long-term extension, factor into your plans when you're drafting this summer?

not so far.

And, and honestly, I'm gonna keep track of it and I'm gonna, I'm gonna check on rotoworld.com all summer to make sure that I'm up to date on, you know, this contract dispute and this situation with Pickens.

It's, it's a little bit volatile, I, I, I will admit that.

But, I mean, you're talking about a guy in Pickens who through large chunks of last season had more air yards than CeeDee Lamb, had more targets than CeeDee Lamb, was sort of the wide receiver one.

I know people don't like s- to talk about that, but it's true.

So his upside is tremendous.

I will keep monitoring him.

I feel okay with Pickens around the wide receiver 10, 11, 12 area.

Yeah, there were stretches last year where Pickens flirted with being the wide receiver one overall in fantasy, not just Dallas.

The upside is so enormous.

He does kinda feel like the player where this season you might be better off trying to find this year's George Pickens instead of last year's George Pickens, who just happens to be George Pickens.

we will let you know every twist and turn in George Pickens' contract drama at rotoworld.com.
