And I really do in my heart of hearts think Philly's gonna get hot at some point, Joe.
I mean, this team, this roster, I know they got off to the awful start and they brought in Mattingly.
They won a bunch in a row.
That got them back.
It's l- it's almost like Boston, got them back to being good again.
That roster though, man, with that pitching- and Duran closing the game out and, and, you know, the hitting that they have, I, I s- I, I can't imagine them not making it, one of those three wildcard spots.
Experience.
I'm giving you Phillies.
Yep, experience.
And right now, I mean listen, that's, that's all locked up there.
We know the Cubs are likely, looking at that number one wildcard spot, and then it's combinations of Phillies, Padres, Diamondbacks, you know, go down the list here.
It could be one of, one of a bunch of teams that are on that board right here.
But I, I'm kinda with you.
I, I think Arizona here, I, I don't like what I've seen from Boston.
They're coming off a, a two and seven r- two and five rather, road trip.
We just watched them in Pittsburgh.
That didn't work out all that well there.
Whitlock went down out of the, bullpen.
Bello I believe is actually gonna be part of the He's gonna be the bulk, relief guy here tonight.
They're gonna go with an opener.
And yeah, I mean, you win 27 out of 30 games and you're gonna put yourself into contention.
But my problem with teams like that, Craig, is that if you, maybe you peaked a little too soon because -- Agreed that's, uh- Agreed I, I don't think you It can only go one.
If you're rolling out Bryan Bello here, with his 10 ERA, I, I, I think there's, trouble in paradise with Boston.
I don't think that with Arizona.
I definitely think, uh- Yeah Arizona, even with Mitch Ba- Brach, should still be able to go toe to toe with Boston at a pretty good price here, at plus money.
But if I I'm with you.
There's something about the Padres that doesn't sit well with me, and we know- Yeah, I'm not sure about them the backend of the bullpen has been great.
We know that Casey Mays won again yesterday.
I mean, Robbie Ray, what's going on with him now?
Joe Musgrove is throwing, minor league games and rehab assignments.
Maybe they can get, some reinforcements back.
But I mean, that hitting was just so bad all year for the Padres.
Can they con- can they sustain this?
Can they con- sustain the offense, Craig, long enough to ride this thing into September?
Yeah, I'm not sure.
I, I, again, I, I- Me neither you know, I, I think they are good enough, but I still think Philadelphia is better, and I think the Diamondbacks- have played consistently better for the majority of the season.
So that, you know, that's sort of my feeling on it.
But I would also say, you know, it's like splitting hairs.
It wouldn't shock me at all to see, you know, Philly out and Arizona in and San Diego in too.
Yeah.
I, I, I just, I look at Philadelphia's roster and I, and I find myself wondering how was Schwarber and Harper and Stott and Luis Urias and Sanchez and Wheeler and, and all this great pitching that Philly has and, and you're telling me that they're not as good as San Diego or as good as Arizona?
I don't, I don't see it.
Also, let's also not forget this.
2023, go take a look at the standings in 2023.

Like everyone says Pete Crow-Armstrong- Yep is, you know, MVP candidate and maybe that's the guy that keeps them alive.
But a lot can still happen in September.
