On field, the standard, the margins are smaller and the standards are higher, although Coach Cgnetti held a very, very high standard, especially in the quarterback room at Indiana, but just the margins are small because the NFL , I would say across the league is a little bit more of an even dynamic and equilibrium rather than college where you kind of get some disparity sometimes.
And being able to connect with, for example, Kirk's 37 years old and I'm 22, so be able to connect with Kirk on and off the field is a different relationship than Let's say me and a sophomore receiver, Charlie Becker, who's, you know, I'm 22 and he's 20, so it's a lot different, but I, I feel like the entire team has embraced that challenge and the opportunity, and if anything it's a benefit and it's a positive thing because I'm able to learn as a rookie where all the rookies are able to learn from the veteran players like Kirk, like Max, like.
Quay, I mean all those and like Tyler Linderbaum with all those guys who have all that fantastic wisdom and advice and have had the highs of their career and, you know, although very little, little, very little lows in their career as well, to be able to learn from that and be able to help us accelerate our development.
I think it comes from the standard that Coach Kubiak, Coach Donoco, and Coach Sullivan demand.
Especially with their, especially OTAs there, you know, maybe one or two practices that or two reps that I thought, hey, this is a really, really good rep, and then we get in the film room, and maybe it might have, you know, slipped past in college, but when we get in the film room.
And you know, you get torn apart because of the small detail, but then you end up realizing when you watch the game film and you talk to the veterans that hey, in the game, the margins are only even smaller, and in reality, when you thought that was a great ball, it's really a fifty-fifty ball because you didn't throw in the correct timing.
And so to be able to learn.
From that and have honestly frustrations, uh, you know, with my, with my own play and has helped my growth, has helped new neurological pathways form because it, it creates that pressure and that, that positive pressure and that positive stress in order to grow and learn as a quarterback.
