So, uh, bring it all the way back to training for the, uh, combine everything, you know, we trained at the same spot, so, you know, we build a good relationship there, and then obviously once, you know, we both got picked up, you know, we call each other super excited, and then, you know, also right now he's, he's my locker mate, so, you know, I just told him straight up from day one like I'm going against.

You like we could be buddy buddy in the facility, but we're on the field, like, I don't really know who you are.

Like, you know, I need your best, he needs my best, and, you know, just, he gives me, you know, a lot of great looks, you know, I love going against him just because I know that when I step out there, you know, he's gonna bring his all and, you know, when you got two young guys that's, you know, Trying to battle it out, that's just , that's all you can ask for, just great competition.

Could you beat him in expect tonight to be the practice at a Legion, and how do you think that's gonna help?

How different do you expect practice to be, to feel tonight, and how do you think that's gonna help Thursday?

Uh, you know, honestly, I feel like it's still gonna be practice at the end of the day, you know, it's just in a different location.

But, uh, I feel like it's gonna help a lot on Thursday, you know, just getting used to the lights and everything like that, you know, I'm obviously gonna have a, a wild moment just cause I've never been in that stadium with a helmet on, but, you know, I'm gonna have to snap out of it and just know that, you know, we're here to practice, we're here to win the game on Thursday.

Malik, you're just hours away from your first open practice at Allegiant Stadium.

Can you talk to me about your emotions and your feelings coming from Austin Stadium to Allegiant?

Yeah, so, uh, you know, one thing, uh, you know, when I was at Alabama with Coach Saban, one thing he told me he was like, you know, whether it's game or practice, you know, you just gotta take it one day at a time and, you know, just don't let the moment get too big.

So, man, just gonna go in there and just be grateful for my opportunity.

And just know that at the end of the day, you know, it's just practice, just a game and, you know, don't let , you know, good things happen, you know.
