because, you know, this is a player that, I mean, you know, he's a, a veteran as well.

He doesn't have that many years, left in his NHL career either, if he's- in the grand scheme of things.

Like, he wants to win now, that's understandable, and he is the best player on the market short-term.

So I'm looking at Carolina, and I know they love going big game hunting.

Owner Tom Dundon, he is all about that.

I, I'd like to see the Hurricanes make a run at Panarin.

I think, you know, as a hockey trade with, you know, a contract going back, like, they could make it work under the cap.

Like, they do have some space.

the other team that I think would be really intriguing, and maybe this is overkill, but what about Colorado?

You know, you put him on that high- you know, that, that high-paced offense, they're already the favorite you know, for the Stanley Cup.

Why not just go all in, you know?

A- and again, like, a, a contract or two would make the money work.

The Rangers could even pull back some salary, to make it work.

You go with, you know, futures, 'cause that's what New York should be going for anyways right now, and, and let's see what, you know, a power play with Makar, MacKinnon, and Panarin can do.

Oh, man.

You know, I, I don't wanna say this because, you know, it, it just seems so obvious, though.

Like, the guy has lived in Florida, he's best friends with Bobrovsky.

You know, I was saying- Mm-hmm ... it's not fair with Vegas getting all these guys, but would it surprise anyone if he ended up with the, the Florida Panthers?

No.

No.

Now that you mention it, it would not surprise me.

That'd be tough to see.

That'd be tough to see.

It's just like when I'm circling teams that shouldn't be able to trade for a player because they already have enough weapons, but I could see them trading for a player, it's Florida.
