All right, Chandler, we have to go back to the fifth inning.
The way you created that lone run of the game, what is your mindset on the base paths?
Yeah, leading off that inning, I just wanted to get on base with my team.
Knew he was quick to the plate, so I had to be ready for any dirt ball, that was in the dirt so I could get the extra 90 feet.
I was able to do that.
Person, people behind me was able to move me over and then Sam was able to get me in.
R. Booth described this win as on brand for you guys.
How would you describe just the unique Tampa offense you guys have?
Yeah, I mean, we can, beat the people in a lot of ways.
We got the power with our big three and, our big bats, but we can also create runs with bunt, getting runners in, getting runners over, and making contact.
The pitching matchup we kind of expected.
What level of confidence do you have when Drew's on the mound?
Yeah, I mean, it was great.
It was a great duel today.
I mean, Messick's a great dude.
He had a great performance today as well.
But, we got an all-star on our team, so we know he was gonna do his thing, so it was a good battle today.
And lastly, Chandler, you guys are undefeated in these, Devil Rays jerseys.
Are they a good luck charm or what?
I don't know if they're a good luck charm, but I mean, right now they working, so we gonna keep rolling with it.
Thanks so much, Chandler.
Congrats on the win.
