Report: Aaron Glenn Doesn't Need Playoffs to Keep Jets Job Despite 2-5 Start

The Jets are 2-5 heading into Week 8 after going 3-14 last year, and there are rumors they could sell again before the trade deadline. Even so, ESPN's Dan Graziano reports that most people he talks to expect Aaron Glenn to finish the season before the team evaluates his tenure, and that he doesn't need a playoff berth to stay. Jeremy Fowler adds that Glenn will likely get time to turn things around, though both insiders call Woody Johnson unpredictable. Clock management and the struggling offense remain problems, and the Jets hold three first-round picks, with a quarterback expected to be one of them.
