All right, well, coaching, one more we've got for you.
The three finalists for the Jack Adams Award will be announced later today.
What coaches do we think we'll see, and who should win this award?
I, I think it's Lindy Ruff's to lose, in my opinion.
Um- Uh-huh you know, you get, you get a team not only in the playoffs, but to win the division.
Like, who was counting or who was, you know, picking Buffalo to be at the top, uh- Right when the season began, never mind, like, you know, the beginning of December and probably very few of us.
So yeah, for me, it's Lindy Ruff, and then, you know, it's dot, dot, dot.
You could probably come up with five other names, um- For sure amongst the finalists.
Yeah.
Who else is a guy in your mind for this one, Ryan?
Well, yeah, I, I like the Lindy Ruff pick, but I'll, I'll go with a couple of coaches that were, were near the top.
I, I think Jared Bednar deserves love for Colorado.
Mm-hmm.
They had an incredible season.
Sure.
I'll also give John Cooper some love because if you think about all the injuries Tampa Bay had this season, and yet they were still a playoff team, and, in, in a tough division.
I, I think, you know, he, he finally deserves some Jack Adams love.
It's, it's been too long.
Yeah.
Those are fair picks.
Absolutely.
I mean, I think, like you said, Lindy Ruff is, is kind of like the right answer to the question, and certainly, you know, has already, you know, earned that, that right with what he's done with this Buffalo Sabres group and the way he's kind of s- you know, held strong too, and they, they, they battled through a lot, and they, they finally got there.
would be fun to see.
