Report: Maple Leafs Preparing Pitch For Sergei Bobrovsky In Free Agency
The Toronto Maple Leafs are reportedly among the teams that are preparing to make a pitch to Sergei Bobrovsky's camp in free agency.

And that's their goaltending group in Toronto right now, heading into free agency.
So, Mike, based on your reaction when, when I mentioned guys like Bobrovsky and Binnington in Toronto, I feel like you have a response here.
So I'm gonna go to you first.
Do you see either of these goaltenders making sense for the Maple Leafs?
Binnington more than Bobrovsky because Bobrovsky had a bad year with a bad Florida team last year.
I mean, he's 37 going on 38 years old.
He wants a six-year deal with Florida.
I would, if I'm the Leafs, I wouldn't want any part of that.
I think he's a great goaltender, but I think his time has passed.
I mean, of the goaltenders they have right now, you know, they're making, there's possibility that they still trade Anthony Stolarz.
It sounds like they wanna clear out and sort of rejigger that roster.
Sam Urson is a restricted free agent.
They may not qualify him and he may go unrestricted.
So a Binnington, who I think St. Louis would probably want a first round pick for, and they have Colorado's first round pick next year, that might be a fit.
You know, he's an Ontario kid.
he was one of Stanley Cup.
he's young enough.
it would cost you a little bit, but, but if they re-sign him to an extension, I think he makes a lot of sense with him and would provide stability in net.
But, Bobrovsky, if I'm the Leafs, I don't care if he's for free.
You don't have to give up anything 'cause he's a free agent.
Stay far away.
