Report: Three new Giants WRs signed minimums

Quick update from what we were discussing earlier as it relates to the contract values for the three new receivers signed yesterday by the New York Giants.
Jordan Raanan of ESPN says, "All three, Braxton Berrios, OBJ, and Juju Smith-Schuster, signed one-year, $1.3 million non-guaranteed contracts."
They all get a chance.
It's basically an extended tryout.
It's no risk for the Giants.
The only risk for the Giants is one of them tears an Achilles tendon, they get put on injured reserve, they make the full 1.3 million.
That's the risk.
Th- they're gonna decide which, if any of them, to keep.
They come in and compete with the other guys.
They push the other guys.
And I really do think there may be something to this turning of the page on last week's ugliness by bringing in OBJ and Juju Smith-Schuster.

I, I think especially OBJ, the fan base, like this had been rumored.
I think him and Jackson Dart were together a few times throughout the off-season, and they seemed friendly or conversation getting him back.
So I think OBJ stealing the headlines, being back, getting everybody riled up, ready to go.

When you get these, you know, non-guaranteed veteran contracts, it's, it's the opportunity to go out there and play, but it, it's gonna be hard to make the team, I think, for all three of these guys.
Yeah, and look, if any of these guys play well enough to make the team, they're gonna want more than $1.3 million.
That's the thing.

The money always shows what the team views the guy's role to be, and the Giants view each of these guys as, come in and prove to us that you belong here, because our contract offer to you suggests we don't- Yep think you do.
