'Rock-solid' Colombia can win in multiple ways
Jay Croucher highlights Colombia's impressive play so far and talented options up front ahead of its World Cup matchup against a Switzerland team that lacks "high-end attacking talent."

Switzerland faces Colombia in the round of 16 in a matchup that they believe is gonna be their toughest challenge, Jay, after beating Algeria two-nil.
Colombia favored to advance, but the odds on how this might go down are kind of interesting.
what do you think that says about this matchup as a whole?
Yeah, I'm a little surprised that Switzerland are getting so much respect, from the market.
Understand that their past couple of performances have been impressive.
I think that their overall profile this tournament, is a little bit inflated just because they've had a very weak draw that they've gotten through.
They had a pretty soft group that they were able to manage.
and ultimately, I just don't think the Swiss team has a lot of high-end attacking talent.
I think that's gonna rear its head against the Colombia team that has been just rock solid, all tournament.
I think that Colombia, their underlying, metrics as well, just a lot more impressive than Switzerland's when you consider the caliber of opposition they've had to face.
I thought they completely dominated Portugal, in the final group stage game, in a game that had real stakes for both teams given that the group, was, in the balance going into that one.
And so the fact that Colombia flashed that level against a team, as good as Portugal, the fact that they were really able to control that game against Ghana, I think bodes well.
this Colombian team as well, they're able to win in multiple ways.
They can play on the counter where Luis Diaz is as good as anyone on that left wing, and then also they've been able to really control possession.
They outpossessed Portugal, a team that has Vitinha and Bruno Fernandes operating in the middle.
So that was also impressive as another way to win.
This Colombian team's just really fun to watch, too.
They're very fluid across the front three, where they have guys like Luis Suarez and James Rodriguez just moving across the formation.
So I think ultimately Colombia, they should just have too much talent in this one, too many ways to win, too much attacking threat.
and I think they'll go through, and if you can find around minus 150, that range for Colombia to advance, I think that is a bet.
