What a game here at Chase Center in San Francisco.
The Rockets come away with a 117-116 victory over the Warriors.
Now we go in the Hall of Famer Reggie Miller to break it down.
This was all about Steph Curry's return- Sure after 27 games on the sideline.
He and Kevin Durant with a classic duel, but Alperen engn comes away with the game winner.
Just what'd you see from both sides in this game as Curry tries to work himself back in?
The fact that Curry missed over two months, 27 games, and was able to get 21 field goal attempts off, number one, shows you he's in incredible shape.
Yeah.
And I was curious about the first time he was gonna take contact, how he was gonna feel.
Now tomorrow, will the knee be sore?
Will there be stiffness?
I think they'll monitor that going forward, but I think if you're a Warriors fan, now they got four games left to kinda get him in better shape and round off for that play-in game.
And for the Houston Rockets, six games in a row, they've been starting to get it done defensively.
I think since that embarrassing loss in the closing moments, up 13 in overtime versus Minnesota on the road, and they lose that ballgame, they had a come to Jesus moment.
Yep.
And now they're starting to understand, "We've got the potential.
We've got these young guns, and now we have a ace in the hole in Kevin Durant.
We can't let opportunities like this slip through our hands."
And they're playing much better at both ends of the floor.
This is gonna be a fun playoff run here.
Very much so, on the Eastern and Western Conference side.
But this one belongs to the Houston Rockets as they continue to make their push towards a top four seed.
Their sixth straight win, a one-point victory.
