Rose Namajunas reveals the questions she must answer before UFC comeback

Former UFC champion Rose Namajunas is reassessing a return to competition after recent injuries and results raised questions about timing and purpose. On a recent podcast, the Ultimate Fighting Championship flyweight described months of recovery after an accidental eye poke at UFC 324 required surgery. She also said a torn ulnar collateral ligament in her thumb extended downtime and limited training. Namajunas, 34, reported three months of no-contact work and said she intends to fight again when the motivation is clear. She is 1-2 in her last three bouts and 3-3 since moving to flyweight.
