For the first time since 2015, your peers, coaches across the country, have named Ohio State the number one team going into the 2026 season.
What's your reaction to that?
What, what are your thoughts when it's your peers pegging Ohio State for greatness?
Well, yeah, I would just say that it doesn't mean anything.
All that matters is what happens at the end of the year.
I mean, certainly you wanna be respected, and I think that's the case, but we know that that has nothing to do with, with, with anything.
And, it's such a long season, you know.
And we all have expectations, but at the end of the day, like we have to win the first game, and we gotta go on the road to Texas, and, and we play a really difficult schedule this year, and that's the bottom line.
So, you know, when, when you do that, you have a bullseye on you.
I think we're used to that.
But to me, I think our guys are pretty numb to all those polls
