Do San Francisco Giants Have Solid Starting Lineup?
By adding Luis Arraez, the San Francisco Giants just might have a strong starting lineup for 2026.

Hey, I'm Joe Rutledge with Giants Roundtable for Roundtable Sports.
The San Francisco Giants have worked hard to get a, a lineup that works really well for first-year manager, Tony Vitello.
And at the top of it, they have Luis Arias, and you have Willie Adames in there, and you have Matt, Matt Chapman in there.
You've got Patrick Bailey at the end of the number nine hole.
And the Do- the Giants, really, the Giants wanna be the Dodgers this season, of course they do.
The Giants' lineup right now, one through nine, looks pretty good.
Now, they have to perform better than last season, and they need to come out and start right from spring training, being more concerned and focused on the basics: hit and run, driving runners home from second or third base with less than two outs.
All the position type of hitting situations that a team faces throughout the Major League season, the Giants need to be focused on making sure they get this done on a consistent basis this season.
It has to be done that way because the Giants wanna finish with a better winning record, okay?
They wanna finish better than last season.
So Tony Vitello is gonna come in with his own brand, his own mindset, his own strategy, but he'll also have Chase Tingler and Ron Washington and staff to help him get this starting lineup in good shape.
Pitching-wise, Logan Webb and Robbie Ray are number one and number two.
They're gonna set the pace and the course for how the pitching rotation goes.
Both of them need to stay healthy throughout the season and perform at a very elite level.
The Giants are at a crucial point right now, with the organization having made the investments with Davers last year and made somewhat of an investment to Luis Arias as well.
They need to make sure this roster, this lineup, which we shared in our story here at Giants Roundtable, works well.
And, and the projected lineup here and projected starting rotation come from an article put together by mlb.com, which reviewed all thirty Major League Baseball clubs, and in the article, issued projected l- lineups for all the clubs.
