Seahawks and Patriots: Analysis of Last Year's Super Bowl Teams
The Seahawks have further bolstered their defense, and the Patriots have added to their offense after trading for A.J. Brown. Dan Sileo gives his pick.

I love the first one on Wednesday.
It is Seahawks and Patriots.
Both these football teams, will they have Super Bowl layovers from a year ago?
Will this be two teams that are gonna go through that?
Look, one of the things that you have to always worry about with Super Bowl teams is how long their seasons are and how many years you go in to playing postseason football.
The Patriots didn't have a lot of postseason play, under the last couple years here, so they're not in that room, but the Seahawks have been.
Now, the Seahawks went a long way this past season, obviously all the way to the Super Bowl and winning it.
Plus they changed out their coordinator in Clint Kubiak.
That's gonna be a different look, there's no doubt.
That football team has a lot of talent on it.
JSN is one of the best wide receivers in all of pro football.
They end up losing Kenneth Walker, their Super Bowl MVP, but that football team is really built on defense.
And one of the best general managers in all of pro football in John Schneider has retooled that football team.
Seattle is gonna be right there.
I don't think they're going to repeat, though, as Super Bowl champions.
The Patriots, on the other hand, they've upgraded.
They went out and got A.J.
Brown.
They added him to the mix for Drake May.
You know, last year they had Stefon Diggs as their prime target, and he still had 1,000 yards, but now you've upgraded with A.J.
Brown.
A.J.
Brown also is gonna bring to the table in the run game.
Think about what A.J.
Brown has done his entire career.
He blocked in Tennessee for Derrick Henry.
He blocked in Philly for Saquon Barkley.
What did those two men do?
Well, they went for over 2,000 yards.
He's a physical football player.
He's great after the catch.
He is a guy that, without a doubt, the passing offense has to go through him.
I think the Patriots may step back a little bit in wins, but don't think that they're not going to fight the Buffalo Bills for the AFC East.
That's gonna be a hell of a run between those two football teams in that division, and I do believe that the Patriots are getting better and better and better.
I love Elliot Wolf, their general manager, what he's done.
That's Ron Wolf's son.
I love the fact that Alonzo Highsmith is involved with the college scouting and college personnel.
They've done a really nice job at retooling that team.
Nick Caserio used to be the guy up there.
That's why the Houston Texans are the Houston Texans, because he is a great talent evaluator.
