Seattle Mariners Break Through Offensive Woes in 4-3 Win Against San Francisco Giants
The Mariners earned their first win of the second half of the season with a late surge against the Giants.

Yeah, real good one to get tonight.
Thought, you know, a lot of emotion on that one.
You know, extra inning games tend to be like that.
Walk-offs tend to be like that.
But, you know, a little extra intensity tonight, I thought.
You know, Brian Wu, you know, quality start for us, and, and, you know, just a couple of, of the solo shots there.
But for the most part, you know, I thought Brian, you know, threw, threw the ball extremely well.
You know, good fastball tonight.
And, you know, really was a, a, a big pitch for him and, and, kept us in the ballgame.
Offensively, you know, quiet early.
I thought, Webb did a pretty good job of, of, you know, staying soft at the bottom of the zone and then, you know, running the cutter in and, and the two-seamer in.
It was a you know, he was, he was making pitches early.
But Cole Young, you know, that's a huge hit right there, to put us back in the game and, and, give us, give us the energy in the dugout.
And, you know, that's a It's, it's a large home run on a lot of levels.
And, you know, from a guy that, you know, continues to swing the bat well and, you know, a huge moment for him.
And, and, you know, a lot of, lot of things that, that, you know, behind that.
Colt Emerson, that play at short tonight, in the, 10th, pretty incredible play to kinda even just to convert that into an out, and, and not only that, but keep the runner at second base.
And, bullpen tonight, I thought threw the ball extremely well and, and, and did what they had to do to keep us in that game.
And, you know, not easy with that ghost runner at second.
And, and, you know, Puk, I thought, anytime you can do that, especially at home, you know, hold them from scoring, that gives you such a great chance to win, and, and that's what he did.
Colt, obviously the huge play there.
And, you know, like I said, you know, a, a good game all around, a good one to build on.
We got lots of work to do, but, you know, a really good night, a good emotional night.
And, and, you know, I think the, the guys feel good about this one.
