Who will be selected as the starting quarterback at ASU this season?
Coach Kenny Dillingham said ASU is closing in on naming a starting quarterback for the 2026 season.

All right, Michelle.
We're on the first day of week three of fall camp.
It's actually the first practice back in Tempe after Camp T. We have a bit of quarterback update.
Just after the scrum, Kenny Dillingham mentioned that very clearly that Mikey Keene and Cutter Bowley have separated themselves, and it's gonna come down to those two.
So far, what have you seen through three weeks of, of practice from both those two, athletes and whatnot?
With Mikey Keene, you're getting Mr.
Consistency.
Mm-hmm.
He's a veteran.
He's been around.
He's run d- different systems.
He's not gonna make a lot of mistakes, so he's Mr.
Consistency.
There's not a scenario in college football he hasn't seen.
With Cutter Bowley, I think you're getting better arm strength.
He can get the ball down the field, stretch the field vertical, and ASU's got some playmakers.
And when you've got playmakers, you need to get the ball down the field, get vertical.
And we've seen quarterbacks that haven't been able to do that in the past and the difference it makes in the play calling.
So, I- the other thing I liked out of Cutter Bowley on Saturday was his getting out and rolling out and the yards he gained on the ground.
Mm-hmm.
So that's We've as- assumed all along it was gonna be Cutter Bowley, but you know as well as I- Yeah you need that experienced backup guy because you never know when your starter's gonna be hurt.
Yeah.
We should mention how athletic Cutter is.
He's a very basketball player, but his sister was an amazing basketball player as well.
She's the National Gatorade Basketball Player of the Year, so you got the athletic background.
And while we don't know the official dollar amount, we do know that he was pa- paid very, handsomely.
Oh.
Definitely sounds like Cutter is gonna be probably the one.
You've been covering the team for quite a while now.
What would you just say your prediction right now?
Who do you think is gonna be taking over at the starting- I think it's gonna be Cutter Bowley.
Mm-hmm.
We've thought that since April.
Again, they didn't bring him in to sit him on the bench.
It was just a matter of him picking up the system, and I expect that announcement to come this week.
I think Wednesday might be the day we hear.
