Sharks Call-Up Bystedt on His NHL Debut and His Parents' Trip From Sweden

Fresh off his call-up, Bystedt spoke after San Jose Sharks practice on October 28 and said reaching the NHL "means everything" because it's a dream he has chased for a long time. Ahead of tomorrow's game he laid out his plan: use his speed, carry the puck through the neutral zone, play a reliable 200-foot game and chip in some offense. He also explained how his parents are trying to get there from Linköping. They take a direct flight of about one and a half to two hours to Amsterdam, then roughly 10 hours more to San Francisco.
